A Samoan Comedian From Hawaii

James Mane is a stand-up comedian, actor, podcast host, and Hawaii producer for Don’t Tell Comedy. Born in American Samoa and raised in Aiea, Hawaii, Mane is known for laid-back storytelling, sharp cultural observations, and smart island-style comedy rooted in family, local life, and the modern Hawaii experience.

He was featured in Forbes as one of “12 Rising AAPI Stand-Up Comedians To Watch” and made history as the first Samoan comedian to perform a featured stand-up set on North American television with his appearance on First Nations Comedy Experience on FNX.

Mane has shared the stage with Dave Chappelle, Amy Schumer, Patton Oswalt, Ronny Chieng, Bert Kreischer, and Wanda Sykes. He also appeared in the Adult Swim series Decker as Lanoi Arnold, the unofficial king of Hawaii.
